RISE has a new representative on SAFER's Board; Anna Larsson!

Anna has a long experience from working with electrical systems, driveline and automation within AB Volvo and have continued within these areas at RISE. Currently, she is the Director of a unit working with research for Batteries and Hydrogen in the transport system, but she is also Focus area Leader within the business area for Mobility focusing on Automation. 

Anna is looking forward to the development of the SAFER partnership through her role in the Board:

“SAFER is a great platform where Swedish industry can collaborate on neutral ground for bringing safety forward and we should use it. My contribution would be my experience in the area and a strong willingness to improve”.

Anna also sees great potential in automation for a safer traffic environment:

"Moving forward I see an increased differentiation of drivelines in our vehicles as well as an increased level of automation and it is of course essential that we put focus on a safe transition in these areas but also see the possibilities of using for example automation and the ability of connected vehicles to induce safety”.

Anna replaces Stefan Nord as RISE’s representative in the SAFER Board.
