Welcome back – Let’s co-create this autumn!

Aug, 12 2025

We hope you all had a wonderful and refreshing summer! As the autumn term begins, we look forward to a dynamic and engaging season filled with collaboration, creative idea generation, and shared knowledge-building in the field of traffic safety.

Over the summer, we have added new material to our Knowledge Library – feel free to take a look! The library gathers publications and results from SAFER’s partner projects – research that advances knowledge and enables smarter traffic safety solutions. Do you also want to use our platform to share scientific publications from your project – while also contributing to our collective knowledge base? Send us your material and we add it to the library!

At SAFER, our 11 active working groups continue to drive co-creation across a wide range of safety-related areas. These groups are central to our platform’s success, and we warmly welcome new active members and proposals for additional groups in complementary fields. The strength of our collaboration lies in the diversity and engagement of our partners – and there is always room for more.

We are also pleased to continue offering targeted support to help our partners initiate new research through the SAFER Idea Exploration Program. The next call is now open – exclusively for our working groups – and we encourage you to explore how you can contribute.

Submission deadline: October 23, see here!
