Welcome back to work. Or to school. Or just to more live saving research.
Welcome back to yet another term with SAFER and creation of live saving traffic safety research! We do look forward to the work we have ahead of us within the SAFER network. The priorities for the coming autumn and winter is, besides running the already ongoing projects, continue the planning for the next stage of SAFER, Stage 5, starting April 1, 2019. In September a strategy meeting will be held and in early October the first proposal will presented for partners. An extra shareholders’ meeting will preliminary be held in late November. In October it is time for the 6th International conference on Driver distraction and Inattention. Registration is ongoing and the event seems to be well attended. Welcome to sign up!
Several new projects have just started, or will start in the near future. It is pleasing to see that SAFER continue to attract EU fundings.
We will also continue the SAFER seminars and other knowledge sharing activities. You are always welcome up to the SAFER office for networking or work. The new coffee machine does deliver good coffee!
For practical matters, our Facility manager Ellinor Claesson is working every day 08:30-12:00.
