Speaker: Paul Green, University of Michigan Transportation Research Institute (UMTRI), USA.  

Background


Paul Green is a research professor in UMTRI's Human Factors Division and an adjunct associate professor in the University of Michigan (U-M) Departments of Industrial and Operations Engineering (IOE). He leads a research team that focuses on driver workload and workload managers (currently, through the SAVE-IT program), navigation system design, and motor vehicle controls and displays. The research makes extensive use of instrumented cars and UMTRI's driving simulator. He has led the development and managed all three generations of the simulator over the last dozen years.
