14.45 - 15.00 MariAnne Karlsson, Professor, Head of Division Design & Human Factors at department of Industrial and Materials Science. She will present on an overview of ongoing research in the division of design and human factors, including the automotive HMI projects
15. 00- 15.15 Fang Chen, Associate professor from Division of Interaction Design, She will give a presentation about Research activities at IXD
15.15- 15.30 Break
15.30 - 15.45 Andrew L. Kun is Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of New Hampshire, and director of the UNH Human-Computer Interaction Lab. He serves on the Steering Committee of the ACM AutomotiveUI conference series, and was General Chair of the conference in 2012. He is a member of the IEEE and ACM. Andrew’s research is focused on driving simulator-based exploration of in-car user interfaces, and estimation methods of the drivers’ cognitive load to determine the effect of the user interface on the driving performance. He will give a presentation on “ Exploring in-vehicle user interfaces at the University of New Hampshire: A brief Overview”.
15.45 - 16.00 Jacques Terken, Associate Professor from the department for Industrial Design, co-founding the user-centred engineering group in Technische Universiteit Eindhoven.
