SAFER simulator lab Pre-study

This pre-study focuses on understanding issues that might arise from moving and merging equipment from different SAFER partners into a joint simulator lab. Identifying the needs of projects, individuals and partners within SAFER. Identifying problems and cooperation’s and to propose solutions to solve these issues. A managing person is needed to ensure continuity and plan to sustain the lab, both economically and organizationally. The simulator structure needs to be modified to become easier to use by supporting module, concept and prototype integration. The simulator lab should be flexible and movable. Flexibility means having the three identified software’s available depending on the study requirements. The simulator base should be easily moved to be able to fulfill different experiment requirements. Key people that can make decisions, people with expertise or interest in this meeting should be contacted to join the discussions and give their input. In the meeting it is important to make decisions on how to carry on with the SAFER simulator lab, who should manage the lab and where should that person be employed.
