Event

All SAFER partners are invited to an idea creation workshop June 7,13:30-16:30 to provide information exchange about and preparatory work for the second set of calls within the Horizon Europe framework programme. 

PURPOSE
The overall purpose of the event is to initiate a dialogue about ideas and identify how you as a SAFER partner would like to contribute in potential projects and which knowledge you would like to build. Another purpose is to get to know each other for future deeper collaboration, in EU projects and elsewhere, and to find further areas where joint projects could add value and inspire each other. As always, there are no guarantees that this will lead to funding, but similar to many other collaborative organisations we strongly believe in the open dialogue in these early phases. We also fully respect if there are commitments in existing consortia etc that may limit the possibility to share all information. 

EXPECTED OUTCOME
After the workshop, our goal is that we have a number of initial project or work package ideas with a content that fits the SAFER research platform and our joint partnership as well as a plan for how we together can continue to develop the project ideas within each call and who would like to lead this work further where we see suitable opportunities.
 
SET-UP
During the afternoon we plan to arrange workshops to start the dialogue based on three calls from the draft work programme, see the list below. We will also provide some information about the calls and initiatives that we already are aware of and other opportunities that can be of value for SAFER partners. As a participant in the workshops, you will prepare your input in advance of the meeting and be given the opportunity to feed in your initial ideas for the call you are interested in. Information about how you present your input/ideas will be sent out after registration.

The calls we will focus on in these workshops are:

• HORIZON-CL5-2022-D6-01-02: Reliable occupant protection technologies and HMI solutions to ensure the safety of highly automated vehicles (CCAM Partnership) 
• HORIZON-CL5-2022-D6-01-06: Predictive safety assessment framework and safer urban environment for vulnerable road users
