Welcome to a SAFER Thursday lunch seminar! This week we will learn more about our new SAFER partner Einride! During the seminar, Einride staff will give an overall presentation of the company and deep dive into research needs related to verification and human behaviour.

Einride is developing electric vehicles that are autonomous and built for SAE level 4 autonomy. A unique feature of Einride's trucks is the cabless design and remote interface, instead of a safety driver in the vehicle. In 2019, Einride became the first company in the world to operate an autonomous electric truck on public roads. In 2022, Einride was first to receive a NHTSA approval to operate autonomous vehicle on public roads in the USA. Safety is a central dimension in Einride operations and research activities. During the lunch seminar Einride staff will give an overall presentation of the company and deep dive into research needs related to verification and human behaviour.
