A SAFER Thursday lunch seminar with Axkid: Research and Innovation for Safer Child Mobility
For more than a decade, Axkid has been at the forefront of child safety, developing innovative restraint systems and contributing to the advancement of knowledge on child protection in transport. In this seminar, Anton Wall and Daniel Lundgren will share perspectives on current challenges in child safety, emerging research needs, and opportunities for future collaboration between industry and academia.
As an active SAFER partner, Axkid is engaged in research and innovation aimed at improving protection for children across different transport environments. The seminar will highlight ongoing and future research initiatives, including the development of new safety solutions for ambulance transport, an area where the need for improved child protection has long been recognised.
Participants will gain insights into how research, testing, and product development can work together to address unmet safety needs and contribute to safer mobility for children.
