ADAS Education - How do drivers learn their support systems?
The aim of this pre-study is to identify different groups of car drivers' knowledge of the driver-support systems they have. How they gained the knowledge, how they use the ADAS and how they would like to gain the knowledge. This pre-study will generate more knowledge about the customer's thoughts and behavior about how you learn and how to use ADAS. The results will produce information on how knowledge transfer could be improved, and by extension to increase the safe use of ADAS. Research questions are: How do drivers with ADAS gain knowledge about their systems? Is it different between different groups of drivers (young, old, family, company cars)?; Are there knowledge gaps/misunderstandings about ADAS which can cause traffic hazards? Are there problems with other road users that do not understand the behavior of drivers with ADAS, is it a risk to others?; What are the drivers' motives behind the use/refrain from use of ADAS (in order to adjust transfer of knowledge to the user request)?
