The next SAFER doctor is Jonas Östh, PhD student at the Department of Applied Mechanics, Chalmers! On the 11st of April he will present and defend his doctoral thesis, which deals with Muscle Responses of Car Occupants.

Jonas is PhD student in the SAFER projects Development of Active HBM in Frontal Impact Situations and Active Human Body Models for Virtual Occupant Response, step 2.

Title: Muscle Responses of Car Occupants: Numerical Modeling and Volunteer Experiments under Pre-Crash Braking Conditions   
 
Faculty opponent: Susumu Ejima, Ph.D., Manager Impact Biomechanics Research at the Japan Automotive Research Institute, Japan.
