DaCoTA is a project which will develop and implement new approaches to gather, structure and apply policy-related safety data. The data will be incorporated within the European Road Safety Observatory which has a vision that it should become an institutional data and knowledge system that will bring together a range of data relating to accidents (macroscopic and in-depth), the transport conditions (exposure, infrastructure), road user behavior (attitudes and driving actions) and road safety management (policies, effectiveness, enforcement).
