Period

Project manager
Ines Heinig

The objective of the DRIVE C2X Integrated Project is to carry out comprehensive assessment of cooperative systems through extensive European Field Operational Tests. This general objective is split into four major technical objectives: (i) Create and harmonize a European wide testing environment for cooperative systems (ii) Coordinate the tests carried out on parallel throughout the DRIVE C2X community (iii) Evaluate cooperative systems (iv) Promote cooperative driving. The project fully responds to EC requirements and the Call contents on Field Operational Tests. DRIVE C2X project is above all a methodological activity, since the main objective is to show the most likely impacts of cooperative systems on users, society and provide useful information for further development of cooperative systems. The purpose of this project is to bind together and harmonize existing European test sites for common testing and coordinate this testing according to mutually agreed methodology and operation procedures.
