Drivers under the influence of alcohol continue to pose a major road safety problem, and mandatory alcohol interlocks have substantial potential to reduce road traffic crashes. The objective of this project is to develop a knowledge base that the Swedish Transport Administration and the Swedish Transport Agency can use to assess the feasibility of advancing the process further. This knowledge base will cover user experiences as well as relevant technical and legal considerations.
