Project

AstaZero (the Active Safety Test Area) is under construction during 2012-2014, and will open for operation in 2014. The research facility creates a unique opportunity for research and innovation in active safety functions. Chalmers University, SAFER, SP Technical Research Institute of Sweden and ASTA ABare presently planning their activities to promote active safety research. There are also research projects already in progress (e.g. NGTEST within the FFI programme). The project aims to connect SAFER to the other initiatives and to be a link for information between the research groups. The aim is also to support the building of a research infrastructure connected to AstaZero.
