Thorax and head response to oblique loading in different severities using different restraint systems; PMHS responses compared to those of THOR and THUMS
Period
1 April 2014–31 March 2016
Project manager
Johan Davidsson
The purpose of this pre-study is to evaluate human thoracic response in oblique loading using different restraint systems. The human response will be compared to the upgraded THOR dummy response and used for validation of THUMS. The pre-study can be divided into three work packages: PMHS Sled tests; Belt-shoulder interaction; Kinematic data processing at University of Zaragoza (UNIZAR).
