Monitoring human mental status during driving will give valuable input to future safety system development. Today this is an unexplored area that requires a multidisciplinary approach. The focus and goal of this project is to, within the SAFER environment, investigate possible competences within the area of human mental status measuring and analysis in order to build a competence platform in Gothenburg. Specific deliverables will be a documentation of relevant competences within other disciplines and if possible creation of a competence group closely connected to the medical society. Measurements on humans during driving, using available measurement equipments, will be collected and analysed.
