Training needs analysis - Towards a training curriculum

This deliverable provides a literature review concerned with different training programs with a focus on healthy older drivers and age related changes in driving ability. The review cover different types of training, from general (cognitive, physical or perceptual functions) to specific (theoretical education program, or practical driving training using driving simulator). Furthermore, a summary of effects in terms of durability and transfer is provided. We then looked critically to these works and tried to explain some differences. Finally, regarding our hypothesis, we worked out some recommendations based on training program addressed to older drivers under and over estimating their cognitive abilities.
