On this seminar Paul Hemeren, Associate Professor of Informatics from University of Skövde will present - DISC - Driver interaction with Safety Scales and Scoring Systems based on different use case scenarios

This pre-study project will present limitations and improvements to inform drivers about traffic safety conditions that are important for drivers. Some of the key factors for traffic safety information will be a basis for use case simulations from obtained (real-time) data where the simulations can then be tested in a driving simulation environment. This will also include the role that human cognition plays in understanding different traffic situations to avoid potential limitations of computational models. The central goal of this pre-study project is to develop the scientific basis for the improvement of driver interaction with ADAS.
